Default Super Chipmunk - Help Needed

hello everyone, my name is motley.

I was/am an avid r/c enthusiast until recently [2 years ago] lost my right hand in an accident at work. i still have the bug, but have given it up. i've since found that i can still have some enjoyment on my computer with use of a program called microsoft flight simulator. crashes aren't so hardening.

my request to all of you is this. i have a friend that does 3d modeling on his computer, and he has told me that if i can find everything thats needed, photos, side/top/bottom views of art scholls "super chipmunk"/goldberg chipmunk, that he would model it to a file that could be used in the flight simulator so that i could enjoy my favorite r/c aircrat once again. there are many great planes that i use to fly [in r/c] that I can still enjoy in the flight simulator with having only one hand. watching fellow fliers at the flying field just isn't enough.

if at all possible, any and all sources of info, i will be thankfull for.

also, if anyone has the label/sticker card for the chipmunk, [the one that has the pennzoil chipmunk [complete] i'd like a 1024x768 [or the largest I can get] picture scanned of it so they can be used to complete the look when my friend is finished.

thank you...

motleyd

EDIT:

after thinking about it, if i had photos [top/bottom/side/front/back] as balanced from a flat level [look] of flight, this may also work.

been there, tried it....and inevitably, crashed. not worth it to see all my hard work building them go into a pile of splinters again.

i've found all the info needed. Original flight manual, all views, everything. EXCEPT, I still need the all the stickers if someone has them to scan. The higher the resolution the better.

Thanks

The trainer function on my Futaba 7C allows you to let a student pilot control selected channels. Would it be worth it to fly if your friend could fly the throttle and rudder and you could fly the aileron and elevator (or some other combination)?

Hi Motley,

I had a CG Superchipmunk that Im building from the goldberg kit, let me the weekend, to mke the scan you need, and send it to you, please send me you email address to sen d the file, do you need only the penzoil logo? or all the decal sheet? My plane is being modified to make it glassed and painted, it has been aall the fuselage and flying surfaces planked with balsa, to make some scale appearance. Hope it can help you to make you project reality.

Regards

Bule
