Default RE: Sundowner 50 elevator issue

What type of hinges?

Pinned flat hinges or CA hinges could be cut flush with the TE of the stab, and new slots cut beside them, or the existing ones worked out with a sharp xacto once they're cut.

Robarts are a PITA to remove.
