Default Spektrum Crab function

Th is my first post to RCUniverse, I have heard of setting up your ailerons and flaps to operate as "CRAB". Flaps full down and ailerons full up? Thus getting "air brakes" So my question is: Can a Spektrum AR7000 be set up this way? I read the manual and didn't find anything. My Spek is a year and 6mo old and before that I don't think Crab mode existed? Or did it? Any help would be appreciated...

I believe you mean "Crow" instead of crab. You did not state what radio or plane you were using, so only a general reply is possible.

Go to http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...ProdID=HAN2350

and click on the support tab. You will see programming instructions for many radios. Some of the mixes described are for the crow function.

It is in manual. Look up flaperons. I could tell you what page but think you should manage that.

thanks for the grab vs Crow... Crow is correct. I'll try the Flaperon section. Thanks.

onexflyer,

Sorry to tell you, but the DX7 Spektrum system does not allow for crow mixing between the ailerons and flaps. I have the same set up and read through the flap set up section with no joy. You can set up for tighter loops by mixing flaps and elevator to include setting up flaps and elevator for landing.

Just to comment on "crow", the ailerons should never go "full up", just slightly up.
