Default Light kit !

[sm=spinnyeyes.gif] Hi all ya'll, Me again. I just picked up a H9 Piper Pawnee ARF 40,from my LHS. YAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!. [sm=teeth_smile.gif] Now for my question, I want to install a full led light kit from Lazertoyz (V3 kit) www.lazertoyz .com. Problem is is I've never done this type of thing before! I need to know how to go about doing it. How do u install the lights in the wing tips, vertical stab? This aircraft had been covered by the factory allready, I don't want to dive right into it using my own ideas (thought it would be best to ask ya'll experts ). [sm=teeth_smile.gif]

The lights would go in the wing tips as well as the vertical stabilizer. I am thinking that with your plane being built and covered, it is going to be tough to route the wires for the lights. This is something that is done during construction. You might be able to fish the wires, but be careful. Good Luck, Dave

[sm=cry_smile.gif] I belive u r right my friend. The only thing I can think of is to strip thhe covering, install the lights and recover. (I'd rather stick a pin in my butt! I hate to recover!) [sm=angry_smile.gif]

Asumming this is not for actual night flight any wired lamp is going to have to have wires and your only options are to run them internally to look good or externally and they are not going to look good thats a fact.

One little trick I did on my Champion Lancer is a simple landing light in the nose with a self contained LED lamp with its own battery (three bucks at Walmart) Its accessed from a hole around the the nose wheel. Agine this is not one of my night flyers for that my lighting recommendations are something entirely different.
