Default US40+ vs US40

Hi:
Anyone know the differance in the US40+ and the original US40?
I have an US40 in my garage that needs some repair and would like know if it's feasible to bash it into a US40+.
All comments welcome

Call the company and ask, then you know for sure. Probably just some minor changes. Thats just a guess though.

This has been discussed at length. See this thread . The bottom line, if I remember correctly is that it's a completely different plane..

It IS a completely different airplane, The original (Still one of my all-time favorites) is designed around the pattern planes of the early 80's while the new PLUS version is suited more to today's 3-D style planes. Plus, many of the differences are not only cosmetic, but structural. The new US is built light and with larger control surfaces.

It would be like bashing a Cub into a Citabria.

Don't bother, fix your Ultra Sport and have a ball with it!

Default Having built both....

There is no way to bash this into the US40+

The US40+ is a sweet plane though and a blast to fly.

I like it better than the original.

Cheers,

Jason
