Hi, Was wondering if any DxI recvr' will work with the DXi 6 Tx. Thanks...Also a new member of the sight awhile back and have not posted yet. I am fairly new to flying so I am still learning a great deal. But I am hooooooked.[>:]

I think they have to be specifically for that transmitter

The DX6i transmitter uses the new DSM2 technology. It can run any Spektrum or JR receiver that is DSM2 modulation.

Thanks, Reason being the recvr' I fried hooking up to a nitro plane. Turned it over and the recvr' said parkflyers only. Thanks again for the reply

What's the model number of the receiver? It shouldn't have fried just by hooking it up. If it's a older DSM1 type, it just won't work with the new DSM2 transmitters. Also, these Spektrum receivers sometimes have a strange quirk where the receiver will basically shut down and "reboot" if the receiver battery gets too low. Maybe that's what happened to yours.
