Fixed Landing Gear tips
I'm building my first scratch build 1/7 scale Henschel 123 Biplane, and I simply can't figure out how to build the fixed landing gear, so it will look scale, yet not get ripped off the plane the first time I land[] it. Is there anybody out there that can offer me suggestions or websites, that my provide me with some tips or ideas?

I will be installing wheel pants on this model.

Then you don't have a problem. Spats will cover any type of landing gear. There is no need to build a scale looking gear under them.
I'd just install a standard type of wire gear, cut to accept oleos, from say, Robart.
