I wouldn't even take it apart.

Put a prop on it and flip it over. If it's stiff, put some fuel in the carb to lubricate it and flip it some more.

If it feels smooth, stick it in the plane and go fly. I've had OS engines sitting longer than that with no after run oil and they still run just great.

I had a TH .61 that sat for almost 4 years and was really stiff. I took the muffler and glow plug off and let it soak in some old glow fuel for a few days. Rinsed it off in alcohol and it fired right up and has run great since.

I would take the valve cover off and drop some oil down the pushrod tubes, then shoot some oil in the crankcase through the breather and pull the plug and drop some oil in the cylinder. Flip in over a bit and your ready to go.

A buddy and I pulled one of his old OS engines (~10 years) out of a can in an unheated storage unit, changed the plug and fired it up. A little lube prior to firing it up certainly won't hurt anything.

If it's stiff and will not turn over then take your heat gun and get it good and hot then roll it over and do any or all of the above. Castor tends to harden over time but will just loosen up.
