Can anyone give me a ideal of a better fueling system than a plastic T with fuel dot for fueling/defueling this bird? I"ve heard of one way valves and other things..Any help would be appreciated..

Mr. Sand: This is what I use. The center pulls out to fill and pushes in to close off and then cap it. I mounted it on the side of the Fuselage. Works great. http://www.advantagehobby.com/produc...8&cat=0&page=1

I always try to keep things as simple as possible. I use a third line that is positioned hard against one of the bottom inside corners of the tank. It will empty the tank dry and I don't have an extra clunk vibrating/bouncing around inside of the tank. The end can be a fuel dot or just tucked back into the cowl. I use a catch bottle at the muffler to catch any over flow of fuel when filling.
Sooner or later a valve will give you problems. I have used both the Great Planes and dubro models, the simple robart fueler works good but has to be mounted to the outside of the plane.

thanks for the advise fellow rc pilots I appreciate it....is there any reason why a T crossover and a fuel dot won't work properly? What happens when the tank is being filled..is there a chance the engine floods? I assume a setup locates the fuel dot about tank C/L or slightly higher on the cowel...is that about right?
