Default A loaded question.

I am asking for your input on the subject of wing loading.
I know that the concept is how much weight is carried by the wing area. In our world wing loading is expressed in ounces per square foot.
I also know that there is at least one other method of calculating wing loading. It is called volumetric loading. I believe this method takes into account the volume of the wing in relation to the weight it carries but I am in the dark about how to calculate it.
Does anyone know how to do this?
I thank you in advance for your views.
Happy landings, Tony.

Not sure if this is what you were referring to to but there was a magazine article not too long ago on cube loading.

There is a calculator online: http://www.flyrc.com/calculator.shtml
