Anyone have dimensions for plane tables that you see at some fields? The ones I've seen have arems to hold back the plane and plenty of area to support most sport size planes. Thanks in advance.

Plans are at the Meroke site:

These are the ones we have at my club.
Good luck

That bench is nice. We built some for one of my clubs awhile back, but I chose to use thinner wood for the top. Doing that makes them less apt to tip over, but with no real reduction in strength.
The other picture shows the replacement bumpers I recently installed. The bumpers are simply lengths of water pipe insulation. It's already split lengthwise. They're held on with zip ties. Simple and neat.

Oh yeah, I'm testing two different types of pipe insulation to see if the expensive stuff (on the left in the picture) works better.

Our club also used the Meroke stands. We had short life with them and made some improvements to it. Free plans are at:

We have versions of that Meroke bench at the three clubs I belong to as well. Very nice. Makes it easier and safer to start up and tune your engines. One club has mostly giant scale pilots, so they built the version for larger planes.
