Can anyone identify this bipe ??
Attached pixs are of a slightly crashed biplane I purchased at a swap meet. It has 43.5 w/s and colors are red - silver - blue - I have attached 6 pixs. The rear of the fuse sides near the tail read "10dash200 and C-GJBH" I looked up the C-GJBH and there is an "Air Tractor Ag Plane" in Canada with that ID. It appears about a 40 to 50 power applicant. Can you identify the maker? Are parts available and where? - Thanks for any info. - Walt

I'm just guessing, but since this is obviously an older Ultimate, I'll guess that Hobbico or even EZ manufactured it. I'm guessing its from the early 1990's when the Ultimate was very popular, but it could be newer than that. The Ultimate is by no means an obsolete design. The metal engine mount makes me think its older and from one of those companies.
You should be able to find a fibergalss cowl for it fairly easily for around 25 to 30 dollars. Good luck.

Global Hobbies Ultimate Biplane... Man, that's an oldie! It's a decent flying plane. But, it is heavy for it's size. It needs a .61 2 stroke or an .80 4 stroke. Keep your speed up on final, it will snap and spin on you faster than you can react.
The full scale Ultimate 10-200 is still available in kit form or plans built.
Good luck!
Doug
