Hello,
After flying mild acrobatics with My Great Planes Piper Cub, I came in for an uneventful landing.
I noticed that my right wing strut was missing. I have read that the struts have been known to break. Is there an aftermarket replacement strut for this plane?
I even thought about modifiing the stock struts with a different hinge. What would the exact measurements for the wing struts?
Thanks,
Indgroove

make on from the other side just opposite orientation. I take it this is the ARF version and or you didn't build it? The wood is a custom tear dropped basewood stick and you should be able to look it up and get it from the kit version.[link=http://www.greatplanes.com/parts/gpma0160pl.html]cub 40 parts list[/link] strut001. Download the manual and it tells you how to build it.
