RPM's on four stroke?
My cub has a Saito 91 and the first flight of the day it has good rpm, the second flight the rpm,s drop off about 1 grand, barely enough to get it off the ground. Any help would be appreciated.

If your engine is changing that much then something is definitely wrong. How is the fuel system? Good plumbing? Any air leaks? How is the mixture? Could it be lean and overheating? Is there good airflow through the cowl to keep the engine cool? Those are the things that come to mind first.

RE: RPM's on four stroke?
I had the same thing on my saito .65, it was the glow plug. I had the wrong one in it, one of the guys had a O.S. F plug ( I think that is what he had) we put that in and it ran great. I reset the valves later, but don't think that was part of that problem, it was starting hard and as soon as I reset the valves it runs great.
