Default Clearing Enamels ???

Im constructing a Williams Bro's dummy radial and painting it with Testors, and also some Humbrol metallics
My question is how can i fuel proof this Dummy radial once its finished??
Ive searched for some answers but all i found was not to use anything Laquer on it because it bubbles the enamel paints

Any help is appreciated

Thanks

Default RE: Clearing Enamels ???

I recently finished rebuilding this airplane I acquired as a wreak and the plastic dummy engine was broken up pretty good but I pieced it back together even using a little balsa then the cylinders and crankcase was painted with practa namel then sprayed with multiple light coats of clear Lustre coat and its working fine now after about twenty flights.
