pre-setting servos?

my plane is built. I'm waiting for my 2.4 stuff. Is it possible to set up the servos etc. on a 72 frequency. The question is when I transfer over to the 2.4 system ,will the same parameters be intact or will I have to reset everything again after installing the 2.4 system. I'm just bored and want to have it all set-up when my 2.4 stuff arrives. This is going to be my first 2.4 unit.

If you are talking about just getting the servos centered, yes you can do that with any radio and they'll be very close to the same when you change. That's assuming there is no sub trim or regular trim inputted from your transmitter.

What do you mean by transfer? you'll have to set up the new transmitter, or are you just adding a 2.4 module/RX to a FM system,, not sure what you're asking here

Yes, there should be no problem setting up your servos, linkages, end points and dual rates . If you are just getting a 2.4 module (and receiver) for your existing transmitter, you should be good to go. If you're getting a new 2.4 transmitter, you will need to input the same sub trim, end point, and dual rate info into the new transmitter.

Just be sure the TX is centered, then be sure the new one is also centered and go from there . ENJOY !!! RED
