Pull-pull system question!
Hi there.
Can anyone tell me how to setup a pull-pull system on rudder and elevator? Also please tell me what i should buy and post any pics or diagram! Thank you. Kostas |
RE: Pull-pull system question!
Kostas - I suggest that you do a search here on RCU on "rudder pull - pull" set ups and you will come up with a lot of info. It sounds like you are new to this so what will be most helpful is some pictures (which you should find as a result of an RCU search) or , better still, go to the field and look at some of what your buddies have done in their planes. As for what to buy, look at DuBro and Don's Hobby - they both offer pull - pull kits with all that you need (except servo arms...) to do the set up.
Good Luck |

RE: Pull-pull system question!
Go to Alan's RC page http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~atong/ Scroll down to the second or 3rd group. He has several articles on pull-pull including pictures and diagrams.

RE: Pull-pull system question!
also look at www.swbmfg.com
they sell giant scale setups, but if you use one servo the technique is still the same, just take out the bell crank and use your servo as the bell crank. Biggest thing is the distance of your servo arm must equal the distance from each side of the rudder where the wire attaches. This is to keep the correct geometry. |
