I agree with Tailskid. 54 of my 166 glow engines are Fox. Of course, Cox made 37 of those 166 engines. Those two brands account for probably 80% of my I. C. powered flying.

I dont see EVOLUTION on the list. nor MAGNUM or K&B or DA OR BME OR ZENOAH, OR ZDZ, OR FIRST PLACE, or FUJI or RCV

The best engine is the one that:

Weighs nothing
Turns your prop 2000RPM more than you expected
Does it on 5% nitro
NEVER breaks or needs fixin'
Always starts
Never needs tweakin' on the needle valves
Never blows a glow plug
Never needs a valve adjustment

Put that in your poll and smoke it. :D;)

Why did you exclude Fox and K&B, yet you include a brand that is no longer in production (MDS)?

I think there was about 3-4 popular brands of engines. They had their turn for being so. Now it has changed ....there are so many good engines.....no one person can say!!! Thats my 2 cents. Do not go by a poll....go to a few RC fields and see what engines there and running good. Capt,n
