Does nitomethane disolve polystyrene?
 
Does nitromethane disolve "hard" (not expanded) polystyrene?

I dont think it will melt the foam but, it is good to take a scrap piece to see how it handles.. I do know it makes a great paint stripper!! The paint on my ping pong table is now distroyed. :)

My guess would be yes. Maily because we use Methelyne Chloride to solvent weld polystyrene and it is attacked rather quickly by about any solvents.
