Does nitromethane disolve "hard" (not expanded) polystyrene?

I dont think it will melt the foam but, it is good to take a scrap piece to see how it handles.. I do know it makes a great paint stripper!! The paint on my ping pong table is now distroyed.

My guess would be yes. Maily because we use Methelyne Chloride to solvent weld polystyrene and it is attacked rather quickly by about any solvents.
