CRRC Gas engine
1 Attachment(s)
I am after some feedback about this gas engine. I am after a gas engine in the range of 40 to 50cc for the World Models Extra 300S 74".
Havn't had a gas engine before and was looking at an alternative to a large four stroke glow. The one pictured below is a CRRC GF-45i. The pricing available here puts them under the price of Zenoah, ZDZ, DA and 3W of around the cc's I am looking at. Ta. Mark |

RE: CRRC Gas engine
Hi,
Can you tell me what problems you had? |
RE: CRRC Gas engine
Hi
This engine was very inconsistent to start sometimes easy then other times it was a real pain, when it was going I could not get it to run properly at all, could never get a reliable idle or throttle response and it would not hold a steady top rpm it would be surging as if it was to lean and when richened of it would fuel up and run terrible. The inlet manafold was plastic and warped witch I had to fix, the muffler was made from re-cycled beer can and cracked and broke before I even got the engine into the air. I am a small engine mechanic buy trade and I played around with this engine for ages and trying everything I could think of I could not get it to run propley. I threw it under my bench and brougt a DA50, it was worth every penny! |
RE: CRRC Gas engine
Thanks for the info. Probably why they are so cheap compared to other makes.

It is just my opinion, but I don't think you can beat the DA. Mine has run great from day one, and their customer service is second to none!
