Wood glue any good?

I have a bottle of wood glue that is used by one of the biggest cabinet manufactueres that I know of. The problem is this....I have had this bottle for 7 yrs. Is this glue still good?

Thanks,
Jeff

Wood glue any good?

Jeff,
I would not use it simply because i had a question about it's quality......hate to lose a $500 dollar plane (or even a $100 plane)
over a $4 bottle of glue.

Wood glue any good?

Jeff: BEFORE you chuck the glue that may or may not be good, why not glue up a few pieces of scrap wood? ;) You can try a few common joints like you would find in a model. (butt joints, lap joints, splices etc)After a 24 hr cure time, test the joints to destruction. If the wood breaks before the joint, the glue is good. :)
Happy landings Tony ;)
