Default Wood glue any good?

Jeff,
I would not use it simply because i had a question about it's quality......hate to lose a $500 dollar plane (or even a $100 plane)
over a $4 bottle of glue.

Default Wood glue any good?

Jeff: BEFORE you chuck the glue that may or may not be good, why not glue up a few pieces of scrap wood? You can try a few common joints like you would find in a model. (butt joints, lap joints, splices etc)After a 24 hr cure time, test the joints to destruction. If the wood breaks before the joint, the glue is good.
Happy landings Tony
