Prop size for DA 50? (86")
Hi all,
What would be the advantages or disavantages of using a 23x8 Mejzlik instead of a 22x8 M.
Do I have to adjust side- and downthrust if using a larger prop than recommended with the combo (DA & MTW)
Thanks
Dragon

You do not need to change the thrust at all, its built into the motor box.
You will just have to retune the motor for the 23x8, the bigger prop is what most people use after the DA-50 is run in. Its a good allround prop

Hi Dragon,
Like RCFREAK mentioned you won't have to adjust the thrust. Quique and I have been using 22x8 with great success. I like the fast transition of 22x8 props in compare to the 23x8 on DA50. It's a personal choice but I have always liked the 22x8 performance to the 23x8 myself.
Thank you,
Reza
