Well, it looks like we have one Rally planned for this year.
Last year Guy mentioned that they might have it at the sponsoring club field, but I guess they decided on keeping it at the AMA field.

I for one am like the field at Muncie. Now I just have to get in alot of practice drops and hope to be able to compete.

I hope the Muncie Skydiving Rally 2011 is going as planned , we have bought our plane tickets to Columbus .
So start practicing guys , Muncie here we come !

Only one negative point ! Doctor orders ,no more Pants pulling and Bud kicking , "THE" forbidden activities for me in Muncie !
Turns out to be too stressful for my back

Good to know that you will be coming to Muncie this year. Yeah you don't want to stress your back by doing any pants pulling and butt kicking. I think that "Orange Circles" are less stressful on the back. See you there.

I flew into Indianapolis and rented a car to drive to Muncie (about 1 1/3 hrs). As far as I know, Muncie only has a small airport. Airfare, hotel, food and rent a car for the whole trip was almost $1000. Probably much more now!

Well, the Muncie meet is only 6 weeks away.

I got a call from Mac McIntire he was calling people he had numbers for to see who was coming.
I told himI had a thread started on here, but so far there hadn't been many post as to who was coming.

I haven't seen a flier for the event, I went to the sponsoring Clubs website but there was nothing there either.
The only info I have seen is what is in the AMA magazine.

I sent Mac a link to this thread, so maybe he will post more information here so people that haven't been to the past events will have an idea of the event times.

Well, in first instance we where planing to coming to Muncie , we had paid for the tickets .

My Mother ho is 88 years now, was inn good shape when booking the trip ,the situation has turned 360° ,and now is the question how long it gone last.
I don't want to be in the USA when she finally blows her last breath ,I will never forgive my selves if that wold happen .

So I have to apologize to those people I have given exportation for instance , Paul ,Gary ,Frank ,Juan ,Mike and the others I forget to mention ,Sorry for that ,I don't know how to make that up to you .
Marion and I where looking forward to meet all our friends again after that long winter time .

Only the lord had made other plans for us ,everything has a reason for happening ,so this will have one two.


Again My apologize ,
Let our absent not be the reason to spoil the fun for you guy's .

We certainly understand, family comes first.
Hope you and Marion will make it another time.

Do you plan to compete in the German Championship this year, I haven't seen your name in the scoring list unless I haven't been looking at the right ones.
I did see Theo in one of them.

Thanks for the info that you sent me a while back, for the German contest.
I bought a camper this year and it has been taking any extra money that I managed to come up with.
I did do some airline pricing, but it was going to be more than I could afford this year.

Hey Gary ,

We have the intention to compete in the German Championship .
It's only a 1/2 day drive from where we live ,in case something goose wrong , we are home in a short while .

Theo and our Dutch friends going there to ,so It's gone be a nice contest +/- 40 competitors .

Gone give you a update as soon we are back home again .

The Muncie Rally is looking very low interested this year , a quick count is giving 9 or 10 people to show up their !
Hope for you guys there will be more , if the weather is good.[&:]

What's up with you guys?
Were down to only one rally a year and seems like nobody wants to come to it.
I guess if addendance is low this year it may be the last time for this rally too.
It's not worth all the effort to put a rally together and only a hand full of people show up.

I have been to all of the past Muncie Rallys, so unless some unforseen emergency comes up I plan to be there to support their efforts

Alright Guys,

The Rally is four weeks away, everybody have their skydivers and drop planes ready.

Anyone who has been to the past Rallys knows that we always have a shortage of drop planes.

We have a few that will be flying in and a few that don't fly planes, so that leaves it up to the rest of us to get them in the air as well as ourselves.
I, as well as a few others like to fly my skydivers also and not just the drop plane.
If you will be driving in and have a drop plane please bring it, so we can have more skydivers in the air and less people waiting to get in the air.

This will be the perfect time to go for the largest number of skydivers in the air at one time record, but only if people show up.

How about some of you other guys (Dave Naylor, Ken Solomon, Don Mowery and anybody else) lets hear from you.

Gary, do you have your giant telemaster set up fro four jumpers? That's like taking two loads at once.
