Also hat is the altitude for free fall.
I want to make sure I avoid dirt naps from too low an altitude.
It's a rcskydiving jumper.
Thank you.

The minimum height I use for low level drops with my 2 1/2 lb skydiver is about 100'. The maximum recorded that I've yet managed was 1700' which was pretty difficult and was at (or maybe slightly beyond
)my limit! Both were free fall rather than dope-rope jumps.
Hope it helps a bit?

Gordon,
Thank you, I can get my heli somewhere within that range. LOL
First drop will be from as high as we can fly the heli -- somewhere around 600-700 feet easy.
I should be safe at that altitude with a drogue shoot and bad folding job... LOL
