I picked up a Kyosho MP 777 roller off ebay couple weeks ago for $150. Got two kyosho ds high torque servos for it,a Tactic 2.4 GHZ radio/rx. And I stuffed an OS .21 VZB in it (also off ebay $100). Total cost $280. This is my first attempt at a buggy and I am amazed how quick and fast this thing is! I just bash so It's got big block rubber on it instead of clay/smooth dirt track rubber. This thing goes around the corner at 1/3 throttle and 5 minutes later it seems rocks are still falling from the roost it throws! Very impressed. I have the brakes adjusted so I can throw the back end around about a 1/3 of the way then throttle up and finish the turn. WOW. I know this isn't a real new or high end ride but it will work for me. There's a local track (indoors) but there's no way I wouldever get close to opening this thing up even with a puny clutch gear. Gonna build a good sized track this spring and rule it! Have fun

Now that really is a good price that you paid. Have fun Dude.
Wanna Race????
By the way, YES THAT STILL IS A HIGH END RACE BUGGY, they still win races, even against things like the MP9, I've seen it happen.[8D]

1/8 buggies do impress especially when one is only used to 1/10 stuff, like I was. When I got my MP-6 and put an O.S. RG in it, I was amazed at the power and toughness of these things. Old stuff that still kicks tremendous ass. It's all in perspective, I suppose.
