I have raced gas boats for 4 years and loved it but time for change I need some advice on purchasing a 1/8 buggy I know I'm going to want to race but don't want to waste money on trying to find a ready to run electric buggy I was looking at the upcoming Hpi racing 1/8 trophy flux buggy I like the construction but looking for replacement parts is limited. Any other brands or models I should be looking at? I want to stay with electric any advise would be greatly appreciated
one other ? 2wd or 4wd 1/8 or 1/10 I am leaning to the 1/8 scale any pro or cons

The Vorza is a wicked setup, tough in every area. Great for racing and bashing you should be happy with it. As for the Blitz don't know enough about them but HPI is a very reputable brand so should be good.

the reason the replacement parts on the trophy are limited is due to it just coming out. This happens with all new RC's for the 1st 1-2 months parts are almost non-existant. It happened with the Savage XS, Slash 4X4, Mini summit, and pretty much any new RC I can think of. Its actually one reason I usually won't touch a new model till its been out 2-3 months.

arrowshark,
Did you pick up the Vorza (looks like it given your signature)? I just got the new 2.4 GHZ one and with my maxamps 18.5V LiPo, it is mental fast and plenty tough.
Good luck!
