Default New Buggy

So I am planning on getting a new RC when my taxes come back in 2013. I'm planning on getting the Team Associated RC8.2e buggy and running it on 4s lipo. Has anyone had this buggy and what are your thoughts on it? How does it do off road, like bashing?

I've never owned one but I've worked on one and drove it, very nice! It was a dead tie between this and my Losi, it really just came down to which one I could find and buy locally as close to RTR as I could find I'd say get it, if you don't like it, maybe trade it straight up for an 8ight E or other

good buggy, the 8ight is also competitive, but the AE is better bang for your buck and should have a more efficent driveline.

give the ofna hyper star-e a look, very tough, well made, well desined buggies and has PBS so should be the most durable buggy on the market today, ride hight and ground clearance can be adusted very high for bashing.

A mate has one, runs it on 4S, goes like poo off a whippy stick. I might make him an offer for it, I liked it that much, and it only has cheap electrics in it too. Good for the price.

Awesome. They Hyper Star-e is a nice buggy. But at $400 for the kit, it would be a much better deal to get the 8.2e RTR for $500.
