What's the price on that baby? I am thinking about getting back into nitro with a 1/8 buggy and this thing would be an awesome addition to my garage and for my first nitro in a couple years...<div>

With a MAP price of $699 Losi is going the Kyosho route.

From what I read, not all that much has changed and many are bawking at the high price. Not sure how many parts will retrofit, but many are staying with the 2.0

Yea, the price is a little steep, Im hoping the parts for the 2.0 will be around for a while, I'm tossing around the idea to convert my 2.0 to brushless to run two classes of buggy this year. I kinda hate to waste a good buggy for a shelf queen, seeing I bought it last winter and only ran it for one outdoor season, still kinda new yet. If you ask me the 8ight platform was dialed in with the 2.0, but thats how they make thier money by making new products. Im sure the parts will be phased out sooner or later to force into a must buy situation.
