Default Duratrax 835b

I was looking for a nitro buggy mostly for bashing around my yard and came across this duratrax 835b and was wondering what anybody's experiences were with them?

I've had one since April.....the platform is decent, but plan on replacing the servos as they're known for failure. I had to replace to rebuild a shock due to leakage.....something wasn't seating right so I just replaced all o-rings..etc. OK now. I just recently thought I had a bearing failure in the cluth/spure gear drive train, but once I tore down center diff......I found ZERO diff oil in the diff and a pinched diff case o-ring. I now plan to chk/refill all diffs. I've put about a gallon of fuel thru the engine and most of it in the street and low lying ditches.

B for good price point and basic nitro basher buggy, but ya aint winning races or burning up the track, but plan on some assembly line quality issues ....it needs some TLC if ya want a good solid reliable basher.

Good Luck
