Default RC8.2E lipo recommended with lrp ix8 2200kv motor

I just bought a rc8.2e with the lrp ix8 and lrp 2200kv motor this weekend. I got a 3s 5000mah 25c battery and it just seems slow. It has original spur but a 24t pinion. Looking for a good battery for this setup. Thanks

Sorry to not see the post before . I just got the same car in rtr,( getting some FT parts to beef it up) I have 2 turnigy 4s 5000 25c lipos that came With the car. they performe good. I have 1 RB 7000 75c pack, I got hold of light used, good punch and 4 2s dinogy 5400 65c packs. got them at a good price, and they performe good ( well atleast the little I have tested them)

Now the dinogy are really Nice With the alu case and all , but they are a snug fit in the batt tray. So I will look into getting more 4s in the future for the 8,2. The dinogys will be great for buggy truggy With 2 batt tray's

running a xerun 2250 kv in this video

Looks good on the car, need to look into that body.
You say you run 3s in first post , so with the New 4s it should kick much better. I get aprox. 10-12 min With the 2000kv motor on my 4s 5000 pack , have not timed With the 2250 kv motor, but on snow, it mostly wheelspin anyhow .
