What 1/10th or 1/8th scale racing buggy should i buy for $500 or less?
I'm looking for 1/10th or 1/8th scale 4wd (prefered rtr) racing buggy for $350 (sorry it says 500) or less so let me know what i should buy and ty im really serious about this and plan on racing when i upgrade it

You're header says $500 and your post says $400. Which one is it? $100 can make a difference.
How serious are you about racing or is this for bashing only? Racing generally means a kit and not RTR. Also, 1/8 is sturdier and a 1/10 buggy is somewhat fragile and twitchier. Choose your scale and then do the research. 1/10 will tend to be cheaper.

Gas or electric? You won't find a truly competitive vehicle in your price range. But you can get started and have fun with a used or RTR vehicle.

The HPI Trophy mentioned above is $450 So it's more than your amended price. I think $350 is a problem. Here are some of your choices.
