Hey all, I have been out of the racing sceen for quite a while and used to race monster truck class/truggy class. I am wanting to get back into racing BUT now I want to race buggies instead. When I got out of the R/C world a while back, I sold EVERYTHING i had, so now I have to start from scratch all over again. So I know that there are a lot of mixed feelings about what I am about to say but please give me some useful feedback.
I am thinking about getting the "Kyosho Inferno MP9 TKI" it is a RTR car. It sells on Amazon for around $573. Does anyone have any experience with this buggie and how do you like it? Do you think it would be fairly competitive if you drive it right?
I know that some people want me to get a kit car and build up a nice fast car but I am looking to race SOON and spend as little as possible but have something that I can upgrade little by little and eventually have a nice fast car.
Any words of wisdom will be helpful!

hi russ yep very good choice these are built great fast in electric and nitro go for it ,you might have to make some adjustments with a gears, shock oils etc depending on track ,steering is great too ,yep i `ve seen them run at races and win too ,order some spare parts on line for it too , and or you can look at mugens mbx7r eco and nitros kyoshos and mugens are engineered for racing also techno is good and a few others brands you can also go on to youtube to see some testing , racing and reviews of different brands. ok
