Default Purchase a buggy

Hello everyone, Craig Here! Where would be the best place to buy a Nitro Kit from? On-line at Amain Hobbies or Tower Hobbies? What about a Hobby store?

Thank you

I hear ya about the choices out there. For me it wasn't about racing an eBuggy...it was about having a heavier RC to bash with but could be raced if I choose to do so.

I was waiting for months for the latest offering from Ofna/HoBao (Ultra LX3/Hyper VS) to show up in Tower Hobbies in stock status. In the meantime I was putting ridiculously low bids on some used 1/8 eBuggies on eBay and nothing became of it. Then one hobby shop was/is getting rid of some new old stock, and I saw some RC8.2e FT being put up for auction. I came home from work and checked the end of auction; low and behold, for under three benjamins, a green winning bid was staring me in the face. I think I got a great buggy, and at a great price to round out my Associated RC stable. Sure it's discontinued now that the RC8B3e is up and running, but I don't see parts supply being a problem for many years. Heck, I still run my B4 (circa 2004) buggy and parts support is still plentiful.
