1st Buggy...just purchased Hyper 7 PBS!!
Just a quick note to say thanks guys for the information given that helped me make my 1st buggy purchase. I should have it within the next few days and will let you know how it works out. Should be a bit different than driving my XXXNT. Can't wait to get it on the track! I'm sure I'll be back with plenty of questions. Later...............

Sweet! Yet another satisfied Hyper customer (hopefully!). Hope you get through that Hyper 21 break-in, blow dry the case and use the pullstarter (and if you can, add another head shim for easier starting). If you need any further suggestions, ask away. Down the road I recommend the O.S. #20E carb, it makes tuning a whole world of a difference in engine stability and tuning.
Also hang out in the OFNA forum, quite a few handy guys there too.

Congrats on the buggy. It will be worlds diferent from the XXXNT. I would look into getting another JR reciever so that you can use the nice radio that comes with the XXX NT on the Hyper.

I would start with 3 turns out HSN and flush LSN (pretty rich) and currently my setting is 2 1/4 turn out HSN and 1 1/2 turn in from flush (surface with carb body) and it's pretty chilly out here today.
I've done more tuning and test drives today, getting really good results with the combo I setup; Top EFRA 9886 pipe, Ultra MBX header, McCoy MC-59 (hot) plug, 20% fuel and OS #20E carb and this thing is snappy. I snap the throttle and the car almost wheelies and is quite loud. I'm beginning to think the Hyper 21 is a great engine for its value, but I can't wait for the Novarossi P5 I'm going to order! good luck breakin in that engine and on mine, i had to tighten down the front left pivot balls because the cvd kept popping out when the arms were fully extended and the wheel was turned. so if you run into that you know what to do.
