Which buggy
Sorry if this has been asked 40 billion times but I just went thru like the first few pages of this forum but only say a couple threads bout my question. So sorry if this has been asked before. Well I just bought myself a Losi XXX-NT Drake edition truck, but my dad likes the 1/8th scale buggies. I am wondering what a good buggy is? I am thinking about the Ultra MBX Pro. I've looked and heard it's a great buggy for the price. I would be surprising my dad with this cause he would have no idea that I would be getting this for him so I want to get him one he will like and not be disappointed with and will not break all the time. I would get the Hyper 7 PBS but I think it is a little out of my price range. I am trying to save up for my new 4-wheeler so I'm trying to get a buggy at a good price, but not a piece of crap.... lol..... so just let me know what buggy you think I should get for him. Your help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance. Trey

RE: Which buggy
Kudos to you for being good to your dad! For the price, the Ultra MBX Pro is probably the best "bang for your buck" buggy available. There are MANY buggies that are worthy for one reason or another but for 330.00, the Ultra MBX Pro is tough to beat.

RE: Which buggy
The Ultra series is on the low end of buggies......the H7 TQ and engine/pipe for around 350...let him buy the radio set of his choice....I've found if you give someone a RTR they don't really "get it"....they look at it like Oh gee a cool toy...then don't even try to learn ANYTHING about how to operate it.......obviously this isn't a slacker hobby and I'd hate to see a nice gift like that go to waste....if he has to build it it usually gets th eright type of person hooked...then they WANT to learn about it....and in the process he'll understand it's not a toy car....it's a "hobby"...or as I like to call it..my addiction
