Two thumbs up. 1/8 scale buggies are getting more popular all the time and seem to be subject matter for more and more posts.

RE: Welcome to our brand new 1/8th scale buggy forums!
although i can appriciate why the forum was split up, i must admit one of my main reasons this was my fav rc forum was because all nitros were smushed into one forum, so it was always super busy full of info on 1/8 and on road all in one. so much information in one place.
now i guess i will have to not only pick and choose what topics to read but which forums are more interesting as well.
i guess i just sorta miss how it was yesterday. but majority rules....

Originally I liked the idea of 1/8 scale having its own forum - but everyone is still psting to the nitro cars with 1/8 scale buggy questions.

I agree, I really thought I was going to like the buggy forum idea but I'm not so sure now. As ShOzz said, it was kind of nice having everything in one place. I think I preferred the old setup a little better.

I think they should get rid of the nitro powered rc cars thread and just have a on and offroad thread.

I second the idea.

RE: My suggestion
A guy I know works for Radio Race Car International. It is a magazine. He recently did a review of it and he loves the car. He races it at local clubs and wins. He is a sponsored driver for the magazine but not for just any car. He takes the cars that the articles in the magazine are about and races and wins.
He loves the Rex-X (aka X-Terminator) and always tells other people who are looking to get one.
Now for this next part I am going to get bashed for. With this lesser expensive ready to race buggy he is winning against the Mugens, Kyosho's, and yes against your truely and many other Hyper 7's.
There are more Hyper 7's in our club than any other and he beats us all with a Rex-X (aka X-Terminator). This is why I say it is not the car, it is how good of driver you are. He does it with the cheap RTR radio and servos that came with the car. Just recently he did put a Hyper 21 in the car. It was the one with the boost chamber. He has not installed it last time we spoke. But it will be interesting to see if he likes the boost chamber part.

hello all. i have a question for XR Works owners. my question is with the new MBX5 out does this mean i need to buy up parts b/c they will soon phase them out? i've really gotten in to the buggies recently i love my XR. also is there someone with XR parts getting of of the hobby or upgrading and want to sell? thanks to all. one more thing, and sorry if the question is stupid but what exactly does "MBX" mean. i've seen several manufacturers use it. thanks to all
