studysession, depending on what brands you want, i have found that www.stormerhobbies.com has about the lowest internet prices. My LHS, Colonial Photo & Hobby (www.colonialphotohobby.com) tends to be even cheaper though.

WOW!!
Stormerhobbies mbx-5 = 549
RC-Mushroom MBX-5 = 529

Stormerhobbies Nova Rossi RX21P5 engine = 359
RC-Mushroom Nova Rossi RX21P5 engine = 239

However just a note on the engine prices I dont know whether one of those is a REX and the other not!?? Seems a very big difference in the price of these 2 items but the kits are better priced anyway

Default RE: Where to buy???

Not sure if I can do it - May have to wait until AFTER christmas.

I have been looking at all the buggies - Kyosho - Mugen - ALL of OFNA's stuff and some others as well. I am NOT going to pay the Kyosh and Mugen prices. I most likely will get a Hyper 7 Pro kit. Still undecided. But that is what I am leanign towards. It depends on price.

I have a Force .25 motor I can use until I get money for a new motor. I have all the radio gear and high torque servo. I am thinking of selling my Factory Team electric TC3 to come up with the money I need. I should be able to get it once I sell that.

I have been thinking of advantages of waiting for PCR Pro but it will be more money. My wife has asked me to wait until all my stuff sells. I have not finished unpacking because of lack of room here. Our house is smaller than what we had back in the US. Most houses here are small. As we unpack I am finding RC stuff I did not remember having. Complete cars and extra parts. So I have been selling it at the track an on Ebay. I don't have any kits on Ebay right now though. All my auctions have closed. The rest will take to the track on next race day. See what people want or don't want.

Back in the US I left a OFNA 9.5 RTR with no motor never been ran. When I got it I took the engine out for something else. Had a friend of mine ship it to me. Trying to decide just run it and wait until next year or go ahead and get something new now. My idea was to give the 9.5 to my kids for Christmas so they can go to the track with me. But that can always wait as well sine we are in our rainy season.

So bottom line is I am still undecided but most likely would be the Hyper 7 Pro kit.

Cheers.

The parts themselves are to expensive when you need to replace stuff. I can get HaBao and Hong Nor stuff a lot cheaper.

[X(]Mugen and Kyosho Prices --

Look at some kits:
[]no wheels, no body, no exhaust

The Kyosho Inferno is like $1000 by time done getting everything you need and Mugen is in same range. Grant it I have most of it. Just don't want all that invested in 1 R/C. Sticker shock at the moment when I add up everything.[X(]

Since being here in the UK - I have ordered from stormer hobbies without any issues. That is where my Fantom 18 for the TMaxx came from.

The 9.5 RTR showed up and I was going through extra parts I had from my Hyper 7 PBS - was hoping the wing I dyed black would fit and it does not. I wish the holes for wings were same for all buggies. The 9.5 holes for the wing are more narrow than the PBS if anyone cared to know.

So if you have a PBS wing do not buy a wing with pre drilled holes thinking it will fit unless it if for a PBS.

The MBX5 does come with it - Just not the Kyosho.

On another site I saw where it did not come with it.

So far the cheapest price I found for a Hyper 7 Pro is 399 american dollars. Anyone know any cheaper places?

I most likely will still hold off. But trying to find the best deal.

It has it for what I sadi in previous post - 399 but I think at ultimatehobbies.com I would need to pay shipping.

Right now the Pro kit for the Hyper 7 for this weekend only is 349 at nitrohouse.com

I am going to wait and see how much the Hyper 7 PCR Pro is when it comes out. Supposed to be out before Christmas. It does not have the PCR pieces as everyone thought it would but it does have some seriously nice options.

Cool - that is good to know. When the new PCR Pro comes out I am really curious on how much it will be.

It will have:
Pivot Ball & C-Hub (Your choice)
Aluminum shock towers and graphite
Longer chassis
Same cheap start box from what it looks like - this not 100% sure on
The lay down servo tray
Few other upgrades - but one major down grade

Looks like it will come with the spider diff and not the torsen diff. That will bite. Supposed to be out before Christmas
