Tires that are appropriate for the surface you will be racing on, a race legal engine (.21) and a good suspension and diff setup. Other than that, uou should be good to go.

Some clubs will let you race with the bigger engine as long as it came with the car. Most clubs will want you to race with a .21 - It should be fine most anywhere you go.
