Default body for Hyper 7?

I'm looking into masking my newbie image and replacing the stock body (painting a new one) on my Hyper 7 PBS. Is OFNA the only company that makes bodies for the Hyper 7? If not, are they better or worse than the body by OFNA?

Thanks.

Roy

I have not seen any other bodies made by anyone else yet.

I get mine off Ebay for about $20 each. Here is one I painted.

There's a WASP body made for the Hyper 7 that has a taller roof for bigger air filters (such as OS), and I believe Mugen's MBX4 bodies (crowd pleazer) fits too but I might be wrong.

Kuma nailed it, the Trinity Wasp Body and the Proline crowd pleaser body 1/8 should fit the bill.

Are they of better quality than the OFNA? I see no reason in getting them if they are the exact same quality and I have to trim to make them fit.

The Pro-Line you have to make it fit. Not exact, and tight on the sides. I lined it up and it fits my 9.5 perfectly but the hyper is not an exact fit.

I say just get one for $20 american off Ebay. Sometimes they go way over 30 - 35 on Ebay but I keep bidding on different ones and usually get anywhere from 19 - 22 american dollars. To me it is worth it.

I justt painted a crowd pleaser for my mbx r2 and it fits like crap the nose sits way back so it shows alot of the front chassis, it seems as though that body is too short. im pretty mad. I think ill try a wasp body as long as its longer then the crowd pleaser.

I just stuck my Mugen Mbx-5 body on my Hyper 7 and it is almost a direct fit...I run a Hyper 7 body on my Mugen..Proline makes a Mbx-5 crowd pleaser that you can get at Tower. It has a slightly different shape to it,kind of makes the car look a little smaller. Just DO NOT cut the body mount holes in the front if they are marked for the Mugen..The rear is just about perfect but the front is back a little on the Hyper..Hope this helps.
