I recently bought an Axis from Tower for 220 dollars. I put my own radio gear in it so what I have is better than any rtr out there electronics wise. I have flipped through an older RC Nitro Mag and looked at a buggy comparison and they all looked the same to me. 3mm chassis, 3mm towers, universals up front, bones in the rear, aluminum body shocks. Other than a plastic spur gear ( plastic on my savage, rustler, rs4), what gives this buggy a bad rap? Its fast, handles well, and jumps well in comparison to my other 3 cars. Anybody have any legit info on the topic, and ignorant brand bashing seen on other posts is not what i am looking for.

I missed that deal...was looking for a cheap buggy to punish. Intrested in what could be so bad about it too.

Wishbones are weak, Hinge pins bend, Plasic spur gear strips, Heavy, Chassis bends to easily and generally a very low spec buggy.
