After long day of thrashing and bashing, I noticed I busted a shock after jumping a 4 foot ditch at my local flying field. I managed to rip the cap off the shock body and stripped the threads. After a quick swapping with a hot bodies shock, I managed to break a plastic rod end/ball link that connects to the lower A arm. In all the abuse that my rustler and savage have taken, I have never broken a similar part. Are the shocks and towers vulnerable on buggies since they are not covered by a body? Anybody have any input on this, and if so, who makes tough aftermarket shock body?
