Default ofna ultra buggies

i just saw the new ultra lx comp and it looks like a cheaper violator. my only question though is that because it is a ultra and not a 9.5 could i ever get one to violator quality? also are the ultra buggies even worth bothering with or should i just shell out the extra money for the violator. (which i dont want to do because $450 for a car is very expensive to me)

i have an ultra mbx pro and i have seen many others and they are EXTREMELY durable. they are more durable than the 9.5's. this is all base on my experience.

The mbx is a durable buggy for sure. But the 9.5 everything is just a little nicer, better diffs etc. The ultra is like getting a Toyota it real nice, but the 9.5 is the Lexus everything is just a lot smoother and nicer.

either one is a great buggy, it just depends on your funds, wants and needs.

I was looking at an Ultra and seems to me like they arent as big as a 9.5 looking at the specs on Towers website, the Untra series is only 14.XX inches long when the 9.5 series is 19.XX. I guess there could be some advantage to having a smaller car with the same power, I have a 9.5 and I like it..

no the spec on that say 14.xx inches but it is the exact same as the ultra lx ..if you are wanting to upgrade the car go with the 9.5 plus it is nicer to start with but the mbx is great aswell that is what i have and i love it

With enough money and hop ups and the right driver anything can be competitive.

that's the truth, and besides that it feels so sweet when you go to race and your competitors think you aint got nothin and your little sleeper smokes em.
