Default Hyper7 diff questions

Hey all, I'm getting ready to tear apart the diffs Hyper7 RTR and need some advice. Are the RTR diffs the same as the Pro kits? If they are not the same, I am concerned about the oil leaking out. What silicone oil is a good starting point in each diff? I plan on running it on a fairly tight technical track. I did a search but came up empty......but I know I have seen threads similar to this. [sm=confused.gif]

Thanks for any help!

I'm running 5-7-1 front-center-rear
and yes the are the same.
The oil shouldn't leak at all if you install the o-rings correctly

Make sure you clean everything throughly, if the oil mixes with the greese, you'll have a mess

Thanks, I got the front done with only one minor problem that took a while to figure out. When I got the diff back together, it wouldnt turn.... So, I took it apart 4 or 5 times and checked everything out, and it turned freely with the top off. [sm=confused.gif] I finally figured out it was the set screw on the side that keeps the pin from falling out that was too tight. It was strange because it would only lock up after I screwed the top on. Anyway, it works well now. I think I spent about an hour cleaning the old grease out of it. [&:] It was good to see it had bearings as well. I assumed the RTR would be bushings.

Thanks again for the help
