I use a 1000mAh 6v receiver pack, and I was wondering what sort of run times to expect? Do you guys re-peak your batteries after every run? Or will this shorten the life of the pack?
I have had a run away due to dead receiver pack (and yes, I do have a fail safe), and I don't want it to happen again!

You should try the mdp 1400 nimh packs that ofna offers. I have one in my buggy and my sut. The benefit? Just longer run time. If I'm not mistaken you can get them at www.nitrohouse.com find there number on the site and call them because I think they haven't posted them yet.

good and cheap ? not sure they go together... I have a 1100mah with a 359 up front and a gws throttle and i get about 4 to 5 hrs. my car tells me when it needs charging. it just dies and turns hard left.
