if u look in the picture the bars that connect the brakes to the servo are bent ( like it sais to do in the manual) but if you are driving around occasionally they turn around so the bend faces the other way. This makes one brake not work as the length is different.

Ah yes a common one this. Now the rods dont need to be bent ( in fact it's better if they're not) but if you can get hold of it then the PCR linkkage is the best solution. Like this...

Put some rubber (fuel hose is good) between the ball end and the brake arm. This makes it a little easier on the servo's as some of the shock is taken up by the rubber, and there isn't a direct connection to the servo. Have a look at my setup [link=http://cgi.sparkstersworld.co.uk/hyper7_build/sp_images.php?filename=CIMG0313.jpg&action=spoof]sparkstersworld[/link]

Hey Richie,

My kit never came with the ball ends, but have been happy with the setup as is. I can imagine that with the ball ends you are assured of "no brakes" when accelerating as the arms are forced out.

Wouldn't the ball ends cause the car to brake at full throttle though? I think they would on my mbx5 because the brakes lock up when the arms are pushed either way.
