Hello and welcome to 1/8th Buggies

The Kyosho Mp7.5 Kanai 2 or 3 (Some say K2 is better) or the Mugen MBX-5, also some of the Hobao buggies(AKA Ofna Hyper series) are doing quite well in the top ranks. Those are the best out there at the moment but there are some nice new buggies coming to the market soon, namely the Xray XB8, the Kyosho Mp777, the Thunder Tiger Eb4 S3 and the GS Racing Avenger, all of which should be very good.

Put some good servos in it, a nice transmitter, a nice Italian Engine (RB, Novarossi, Picco or CMB) and away you go.

Regards
Alden

P.S another very fast buggy is the Crono Rs01 but is apparently expensive to race and hard to build.

If you are really rich the K2 or K3 is your best bet. That thing is freakin expensive.

Your best bet is the Ofna line. Namely the Hyper 7 PBS or Hyper 7 PCR.

Very nice buggies, just be sure to upgrade the electronics.

Or, the XTM X-Terminator is on sale for $319 RTR, I've heard great things about it. Mine should be here tomorrow.

The PCR was reviewed in a magazine and it reached 48mph with the hyper 8 port, but you can make just about any Buggy hit 50mph with a bigger clutch bell.

The Problem is that with so many companies to choose from it becomes dificult. I wanted a normal on road but seing the Vehicle's heigth I decided to opt for Buggy. What I am looking for a cool fast Buggie from some company who is good at making the same.

Why not throw in some diamond studded tires? $1500 on a single toy is expensive any way you slice it. Now, it could very-well be worth that price, but expensive nonetheless. I think it qualifies as expensive since it is about three times more than the average vehicle in its class.

Hehe you must have never ridden a good bike...but anyways... You kinda threw me for a loop when you said "only" 1500 dollars. That phrase might apply better in a 1:1 car purchase...
