Today when i was at the track driving my mad force i got to try out a buggy and my god!!!!
Im hooked on buggys, it handled so good and it was stable in the air damn it was so fun to drive that i totaly forgot about monster trucks.
So now im going to buy a buggy im so excited and i cant wait!!!!
And since there isnt a monster truck class here in Sweden ill be better of buying a buggy.

I just got into 1/8 buggies myself and its alot different than 1/10 on road. I am amazed at how agile and tough they are. These things can do 20 cartwheels/flips at once with ease then land on all 4's and take off like it was nothing and come back for seconds.

Same here, just got my PRP Swift a few days ago. First nitro, I seriously couldn't be more pleased. I was sort of looking at an HPI Rush Evo, but I thought I'd have a chat with the guys at the shop, they know what sort of bunch me and my friends are (ham-fisted car destroyers
) and they said to me, as they knew I wasn't wanting to pay as much as a Savage/T-maxx type thing, that I should go for this buggy. Didn't know there were RTR 1/8th buggies at that sort of price, but I thought hey, it's got purple alloy and carbon, so I'm sold!
Jumps like a dream - outjumps my friend's T-maxx by literally the whole jump again, stable in the air, doesn't loll and roll around all over like an MT, it actually handles. Seems super solid too.
I'm a happy bunny - especially for £330 all in, and that's fuel, bottle, plug wrench, literally everything.

Nice to hear! I too am hooked and I'm not even done breaking mine in! I just got the OFNA LX Comp. Let it idle through a tank and am in to my second. It's raining today though...
It's so cool looking! I can't wait to see it fly! My LHS just finished their track and it's HUGE! These things just fly like they are little air plains with wheels! It's amazing how they correct and sail through thte air! It came with all kinds of aluminum, threaded shocks, 8mm CVA's and 4mm alum shock towers. And a .26 Motor
Can't wait to see this pupy in action! The best part is, i can use the track when ever I want!!!

Yeah, I had to sit through four tanks, it was pretty dull. Did it properly though, I'm not throwing my money away through impatience, I grew out of that when I started earning my own money!
terrible picture, but my camera is out of batteries, and besides, the car's filthy now...
I'll have to give it a clean tomorrow.

Hi All
Wait untill you get out there and start jumping and racing around. Then the fun realy starts [8D] ,I have had my buggie for about 6 weeks now (Few repairs due to bashing with MT`s all the time,
Mine seems to out last them though [8D]). Its even more fun when you get Vids of your bashing or Racing so otheres and you can see what you get up to with your buggie [>:].

hey garynjr
i was just wondering if you new that you aren't allowed to run a .26 motor in a buggy class strictly .21s. and if you guys hate breaking buy an rb myne took 15mins to go through a whole bottle 1Lof fuel you make them so fat it isn't funny then run it and watch the fuel drain. i was worried because it was sucking a tank in 1min.

I haddn't realized that but I'm also not sure that our track is officially sanctioned or anything... It's more of a club track... They sold me the car specifically to race so if they won''t let me race with it, I'll just tell them to take it back or get me a new motor... LOL...
Thanks for the heads up! G.

No mater what engine you have there is always a class. There isn't any advantage to a large engine in a buggy as they generally have lower RPMs so the top end is where you lose out.

Ok, Yeah, It's official! I'm hooked! Wow, these are so different form Onroad! I upgraded my servo after about a half tank of gas! LOL The stock one is so bad it woudn't turn the wheels if it was standing still LOL
Now it handles like a dream!! And it tears through everything! So sweet!

Hobby Hut on Trooper and Egypt Road.
It's not too far from Lancaster. Their Their address is on the web site. www.hobbyhut.com
It's worth the trip. I was going to take pictures yesterday but forgot the camera... Douh...
It's a very technical track. Large but not a lot of straights. At least without jumps... LOL. You are pretty much either turning or jumping about 89% of the time! Makes for some really exciting racing!! The track itself is off of Egypt road near the shop.
Lancaster is close enough to come down for the day to race for sure. They have people come from as far as Virgingia to race there.
I'm not sure if the race schedule is up on the site. They race this Sunday but not next weekend... Just so you know...
Hope to see you there...

Buggies rock because they can do this http://www.jacobmcdonald.com/rc-car/...tormathome.avi (dont bother if you are on foneline [
]. I got a new vid camera that can shoot in lower quality so Ill be able to make much smaller vids now).
Buggies are better than monster truck because of this! http://maxbashing.dyndns.ws/vids/200...JumpLowRes.mpg
The first vid is mine, but the 2nd one is off a site.
