Default PBS Starter box.

hopefully getting the PBS, but i was just wondering, what is wrong with the stock starter box? is it not that powerful or what?
also, regarding the hyper .21 carb, with alexs (grahama89) DIY, to solve the problem, how do you take it apart and then put it back together again, and how hard is it to do that?

There's nothing wrong with the UK's PBS starter Box it the US PBS that has a cheaper version... and I have seen them used to break in many engines... yeah they get stuck TDC but they would on any boxes.

Back the glowplug out alittle then start it. When it starts tighten the glowplug back down.

Honestly I have a hyper 7 PBS and the only thing I've used the box for is a fancy display stand. I'm sure it probably has enough power to start my car now, but I highly doubt it would have when it was new. Other then that they don't tell you what batteries you need for the box, so you will need to find that out or make something that works. As far as the carb, I had lots of problems with my stock OFNA carb, I replaced it with an OS 20E and have never had a problem since. I wish I would have bought it sooner and saved myself all that aggravation, time and fuel. My only other thought about my car is I wish I bought the kit, I think building it myself would have made it even more enjoyable, but I love to tinker..
